Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Resurfy mobile app and related services (the “Service”), operated by Resurfy (“we”, “us”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Resurfy lets you save links and content you choose, turns them into AI‑generated summaries and structured notes, and lets you search and ask questions across your saved library. Features and limits may change over time.

2. Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate information and be legally able to enter into these Terms. You can delete your account at any time from within the app.

3. Acceptable use

• You may only save and process content that you have the right to access and use. You are responsible for the links and content you submit.
• Do not use the Service to infringe intellectual property or other rights, to store or distribute unlawful content, or in violation of any third‑party platform’s terms.
• Do not misuse, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service.
• Resurfy organizes content that you choose to save for your personal use; it is a personal knowledge tool, not a means to redistribute others’ content.

4. Subscriptions, trials & billing

• Resurfy offers an auto‑renewable subscription (“Resurfy Pro”) with monthly and yearly options.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Prices are shown in the app in your local currency.
• If a free trial is offered and you are eligible, it converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto‑renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions). Deleting your account does not cancel an active Apple subscription.
• Except where required by law, payments are non‑refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content we provide, is owned by Resurfy and protected by law. We grant you a limited, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the Service for personal, non‑commercial purposes. Content you save remains subject to the rights of its owners; we claim no ownership of it.

6. Third‑party content & services

The Service may reference or link to third‑party platforms (for example, to open a post in the app it originated from). Resurfy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by those platforms (including Instagram and Meta), and we are not responsible for third‑party content, services, or terms.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. AI‑generated summaries may be inaccurate or incomplete; do not rely on them as professional advice.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Resurfy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service or its users.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict‑of‑laws principles, except where mandatory local consumer law applies to you.

12. Apple standard EULA

Your use of the app is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula. Where these Terms conflict with the Apple EULA regarding the licensed application, the Apple EULA governs to that extent.
